These Terms govern use of Steppin Stone Social (the “App”), an in-house social media management tool operated by Steppin Stone Tax & Accounting Services (“Steppin Stone,” “we,” “us”) to schedule and publish content to our own connected social media accounts.
The App is for authorized Steppin Stone staff managing the organization’s own social accounts. You must have authority to connect and post to any account you link.
The App lets an authorized user connect social accounts via OAuth and compose, schedule, and publish content to those accounts. Publishing happens only as a result of an explicit user action. The App relies on third-party platform APIs (e.g., TikTok) and is subject to their availability, terms, and policies.
Your connected accounts remain governed by their platform’s own terms. We are not responsible for platform outages, policy changes, or actions a platform takes on your account. Your use of TikTok through the App is additionally subject to TikTok’s Terms of Service and Developer/Community policies.
You retain all rights to the content you publish through the App. You are responsible for the content you post and for having the rights to use any media, music, or trademarks in it.
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Steppin Stone is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss arising from platform behavior, content decisions, or service interruptions.
We may modify or discontinue the App and update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. We may suspend access for misuse.
